ClickFit Evo tiled & corrugated roof passes the MCS 3.0 certification with flying colours
Installing solar panels with ClickFit Evo remains a reliable and safe choice, now proven again by its compliance with the latest MCS 3.0 certification. The updated MCS 3.0 standard places greater emphasis on key aspects such as weatherproofing, wind and snow load resistance, durability, and fire safety.
Enstall is proud to announce that the ClickFit Evo portfolio for tiled roofs, including the Universal Roof Hook and the Truss Hook, successfully met the new MCS 3.0 certification standards. As well as the ClickFit Evo Mounting Bracket for corrugated roofs. Thanks to our continued commitment to testing our products against the highest standards and quality requirements, these components were certified by MCS without the need for further testing. To further strengthen our pitched roof portfolio, we are currently working on obtaining MCS certification for ClickFit Evo for steel roofs and the ClickFit Evo Hanger Bolt for corrugated roofs. Also our newest innovation, ClickFit Evo for Rosemary tiled roofs (to be launched later this year), is tested thoroughly at the moment. Enstall’s teams at Esdec and Schletter are working closely together with KIWA to get towards a MCS 3.0 certification for this mounting system as well.
What is MCS?
MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) is the UK certification standard, which defines and maintains the standards for low-carbon energy technology products, contractors and their installations, such as solar installations.
MCS 3.0 introduces more rigorous testing standards, including clearer classifications for system types and enhanced wind, snow, and fire performance testing aligned with UK building regulations. It also tightens requirements for weatherproofing, durability, corrosion, and documentation to ensure greater safety, traceability, and performance reliability over time.
